CSF works together with the following internal and external entities to achieve maximum value for all parties concerned.

RELATIONSHIP TO LEESAR

LeeSar Distribution Center is a 60,000 sq ft facility that receives bulk supplies directly from the manufacturer. Individual supply stations throughout the membership are re-supplied daily via a low unit of measure replenishment process. Critical space formerly used to store products on site has been made available for expanding clinical areas. CSF and the supply chain company LeeSar work together to maximize distribution efficiency. CSF negotiates on behalf of LeeSar Distribution Center for various terms and conditions. Issues that arise through the normal course of doing business are addressed by the staff in Distribution Purchasing. Contract performance issues should be directed to CSF.

RELATIONSHIP TO CENTRALIZED PURCHASING

CSF and Centralized Purchasing (CP) jointly evaluate the various opportunities presented to our members. CP executes purchase orders utilizing CSF contracts on behalf of the members. Issues that arise through the normal course of doing business are addressed by CP. Contract performance issues should be directed to CSF.

RELATIONSHIP TO VENDORS

As the member sanctioned entity for contract negotiations, CSF exists to contract directly between members and manufacturers of supplies, equipment, and services providers. Our relationship with vendors is intended to achieve value for both through creative and in some cases complete reengineering of the supply chain process. Our primary products enable us to merge business contracts with supply chain efficiencies and member commitment. Vendors are encouraged to pursue business opportunities though the Cooperative following the steps outlined in this web page.

RELATIONSHIP TO SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT

Member Supply Chain Management leaders and Cooperative Services of Florida work directly together to promote the efficient use of the self contracting model to promote member savings and vendor value. Leaders help coordinate vendor access, product conversions, and oversee vendor performance as it relates to the terms and conditions while engaging in business within their facilities. Vendors are encouraged to meet the Supply Chain leadership and staff. Members have individual vendor visitation guidelines that require review prior to being granted access.
